# ZENGGE vs STAR LIGHTING

The clearest difference is update cadence: STAR LIGHTING at every 6 days against ZENGGE's every 2 months. STAR LIGHTING also leads on rating (3.2 vs 2.8). ZENGGE's advantage is ratings volume (485 vs 15). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

STAR LIGHTING holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ZENGGE has 485 ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of ZENGGE's written reviews are positive against 30% of STAR LIGHTING's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ZENGGE ships an update every 2 months, STAR LIGHTING every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
