# Net Optimizer vs DNS Button

The clearest difference is ads: DNS Button at none against Net Optimizer's shown. DNS Button also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (100% vs 70%). Net Optimizer's advantage is ratings volume (3.1K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Net Optimizer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and DNS Button sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DNS Button holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Net Optimizer has 3.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 70% of Net Optimizer's written reviews are positive against 100% of DNS Button's.

Net Optimizer ships an update every 3 weeks, DNS Button daily. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
