# UnitTrans vs Flight Tracker

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Flight Tracker at 781 against UnitTrans's 4. Flight Tracker also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.5 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UnitTrans sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Flight Tracker sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for UnitTrans against 4.6 for Flight Tracker. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flight Tracker has 781 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of UnitTrans's written reviews are positive against 67% of Flight Tracker's.

UnitTrans ships an update every 5 weeks, Flight Tracker weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
