# Delivery IQ vs Step

The clearest difference is rating: Step at 5.0 against Delivery IQ's 3.8. Step also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Delivery IQ's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 10 months) and ratings volume (37 vs 2). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Step holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Delivery IQ has 37 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Delivery IQ ships an update every 2 weeks, Step every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
