# Chuck vs SplitSwim

The clearest difference is update cadence: SplitSwim at every 2 days against Chuck's monthly. SplitSwim also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Chuck's advantage is ratings volume (65 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SplitSwim holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chuck has 65 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Chuck ships an update monthly, SplitSwim every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
