# Atkinson vs DamageCam

The clearest difference is rating: DamageCam at 5.0 against Atkinson's 3.3. DamageCam also leads on ads (none vs shown). Atkinson's advantage is ratings volume (6 vs 1). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Atkinson sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and DamageCam sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DamageCam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Atkinson has 6 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Atkinson ships an update monthly, DamageCam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 5, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
