# Barre Eclipse vs Body By Barre Studio

The clearest difference is monetization model: Barre Eclipse at free with in-app purchases against Body By Barre Studio's subscription. Barre Eclipse also leads on ratings volume (91 vs 9). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Barre Eclipse sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $34.99 per month and Body By Barre Studio sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Barre Eclipse against 5.0 for Body By Barre Studio. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Barre Eclipse has 91 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
