# MyBeats vs miSCS

The clearest difference is rating: MyBeats at 5.0 against miSCS's 3.0. miSCS's advantage is review sentiment (19% vs 0%) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

MyBeats holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of MyBeats's written reviews are positive against 19% of miSCS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
