# Gaijin vs CHE group

Gaijin and CHE group both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Gaijin's written reviews are positive against 52% of CHE group's. CHE group's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (35 vs 6). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Gaijin against 4.9 for CHE group. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CHE group has 35 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 81% of Gaijin's written reviews are positive against 52% of CHE group's.

Gaijin ships an update every 3 months, CHE group fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
