# HydroJug vs DIME®

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DIME® at 15K against HydroJug's 2K. HydroJug's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for HydroJug against 4.9 for DIME®. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DIME® has 15K ratings behind it against 2K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 88% and 87% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
