# 中考必备 vs 初中必背

The clearest difference is monetization model: 中考必备 at free with in-app purchases against 初中必背's subscription. 中考必备 also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 weeks). 初中必背's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 中考必备 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per 7 days and 初中必背 sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for 中考必备 against 5.0 for 初中必背. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.

中考必备 ships an update every 2 weeks, 初中必背 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
