# Day Journal vs School Assistant Planner

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Day Journal at 12.0 against School Assistant Planner's 17.0. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Day Journal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year and School Assistant Planner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
