# OptionsPlayers vs Truth Social

OptionsPlayers and Truth Social both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 92% of OptionsPlayers's written reviews are positive against 34% of Truth Social's. OptionsPlayers also leads on ads (none vs shown). Truth Social's advantage is ratings volume (118K vs 88) and chart position (#51 vs unranked). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OptionsPlayers sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $34.99 per month and Truth Social sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for OptionsPlayers against 4.5 for Truth Social. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Truth Social has 118K ratings behind it against 88, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 92% of OptionsPlayers's written reviews are positive against 34% of Truth Social's.

OptionsPlayers ships an update monthly, Truth Social every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
