# Tour Read Golf vs Rypstick

The clearest difference is rating: Rypstick at 4.7 against Tour Read Golf's 4.0. Rypstick also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 22). Tour Read Golf's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 41%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tour Read Golf sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Rypstick sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rypstick holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rypstick has 1.9K ratings behind it against 22, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Tour Read Golf's written reviews are positive against 41% of Rypstick's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tour Read Golf ships an update every 6 months, Rypstick every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
