# Justnote vs SNote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Justnote at 50% against SNote's 0%. Justnote also leads on ads (none vs shown). SNote's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.4). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Justnote sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per year and SNote sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SNote holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 8 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Justnote's written reviews are positive against 0% of SNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Justnote ships an update monthly, SNote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
