# Rivian vs ALSO.

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rivian at 45% against ALSO.'s 0%. Rivian also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 9). ALSO.'s advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ALSO. holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rivian has 1.4K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Rivian's written reviews are positive against 0% of ALSO.'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
