# REMOTE LIGHT vs Bluetooth

The clearest difference is rating: Bluetooth at 3.0 against REMOTE LIGHT's 2.1. REMOTE LIGHT's advantage is ratings volume (93 vs 2) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bluetooth holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: REMOTE LIGHT has 93 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

REMOTE LIGHT ships an update fortnightly, Bluetooth every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
