# noteit vs WidgetPal

The clearest difference is ratings volume: noteit at 99K against WidgetPal's 6.9K. WidgetPal's advantage is update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly) and review sentiment (52% vs 43%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteit sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and WidgetPal sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for noteit against 4.7 for WidgetPal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: noteit has 99K ratings behind it against 6.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of noteit's written reviews are positive against 52% of WidgetPal's.

noteit ships an update fortnightly, WidgetPal every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
