# noteit vs Widget Buddy

noteit and Widget Buddy both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Widget Buddy's written reviews are positive against 43% of noteit's. noteit's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (98K vs 30). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteit sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Widget Buddy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for noteit against 4.8 for Widget Buddy. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: noteit has 98K ratings behind it against 30, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 43% of noteit's written reviews are positive against 100% of Widget Buddy's.

noteit ships an update fortnightly, Widget Buddy every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
