# noteit vs Picaboo

The clearest difference is rating: noteit at 4.8 against Picaboo's 1.0. noteit also leads on ratings volume (99K vs 2). Picaboo's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteit sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Picaboo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

noteit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: noteit has 99K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of noteit's written reviews are positive against 50% of Picaboo's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

noteit ships an update fortnightly, Picaboo every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
