# noteit vs sesh

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: sesh at none against noteit's 14. sesh also leads on review sentiment (65% vs 43%). noteit's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (99K vs 15). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. noteit sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. sesh asks for nothing beyond the download.

noteit holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: noteit has 99K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of noteit's written reviews are positive against 65% of sesh's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
