# ExtraPower vs nomadic

The clearest difference is update cadence: nomadic at every 9 days against ExtraPower's every 5 weeks. ExtraPower's advantage is iOS requirement (8.0 vs 14.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ExtraPower ships an update every 5 weeks, nomadic every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
