# VIIO vs Nerdmask

VIIO and Nerdmask both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 68% of VIIO's written reviews are positive against 29% of Nerdmask's. VIIO also leads on ratings volume (1.2K vs 198). Nerdmask's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 9 days). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VIIO sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Nerdmask sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for VIIO against 4.7 for Nerdmask. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VIIO has 1.2K ratings behind it against 198, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 68% of VIIO's written reviews are positive against 29% of Nerdmask's.

VIIO ships an update every 9 days, Nerdmask every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
