# Ahead vs DreamFlow

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Ahead at 22K against DreamFlow's 3. Ahead also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). DreamFlow's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ahead sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and DreamFlow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DreamFlow holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ahead has 22K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ahead ships an update fortnightly, DreamFlow every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
