# Outages vs ADS02

The clearest difference is update cadence: ADS02 at fortnightly against Outages's every 6 months. ADS02 also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Outages ships an update every 6 months, ADS02 fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and September 11, 2026 respectively.
