# LinksGolf vs Unknown Golf

The clearest difference is rating: LinksGolf at 5.0 against Unknown Golf's 4.1. Unknown Golf's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (35 vs 6). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinksGolf sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Unknown Golf sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LinksGolf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Unknown Golf has 35 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LinksGolf ships an update every 5 weeks, Unknown Golf every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
