# ElevationCheck vs Rheem EcoNet

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ElevationCheck at 63% against Rheem EcoNet's 15%. ElevationCheck also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 5 weeks). Rheem EcoNet's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ElevationCheck sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per month. Rheem EcoNet asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rheem EcoNet holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Rheem EcoNet has 16K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 63% of ElevationCheck's written reviews are positive against 15% of Rheem EcoNet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ElevationCheck ships an update every 2 days, Rheem EcoNet every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
