# Matches Craft vs SpiralGear

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SpiralGear at 100% against Matches Craft's 49%. SpiralGear also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7). Matches Craft's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 2.7) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Matches Craft sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. SpiralGear asks for nothing beyond the download.

Matches Craft holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Matches Craft has 1.1K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 49% of Matches Craft's written reviews are positive against 100% of SpiralGear's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
