# Defter Notes vs Mike

The clearest difference is rating: Mike at 5.0 against Defter Notes's 4.4. Mike also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Defter Notes's advantage is ratings volume (75 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Defter Notes sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Mike sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
