# ShineTools vs EV Charger

The clearest difference is rating: EV Charger at 5.0 against ShineTools's 2.1. EV Charger also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.6). ShineTools's advantage is ratings volume (19 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
