# Ace Trace vs Flowstate

The clearest difference is rating: Ace Trace at 4.3 against Flowstate's 2.7. Ace Trace also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 3) and chart position (#122 vs unranked). Flowstate's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ace Trace sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Flowstate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ace Trace holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ace Trace has 1.9K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Ace Trace's written reviews are positive against 83% of Flowstate's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ace Trace ships an update weekly, Flowstate fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 22, 2026 respectively.
