# Ace Trace vs PuttPro

The clearest difference is rating: Ace Trace at 4.3 against PuttPro's 3.7. Ace Trace also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 12) and review sentiment (51% vs 33%). PuttPro's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ace Trace sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PuttPro sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ace Trace holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ace Trace has 2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Ace Trace's written reviews are positive against 33% of PuttPro's.

Ace Trace ships an update every 2 weeks, PuttPro every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
