# Ace Trace vs PlayGo

The clearest difference is rating: Ace Trace at 4.3 against PlayGo's 1.0. Ace Trace also leads on ratings volume (2K vs 2) and chart position (#107 vs unranked). PlayGo's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 14) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ace Trace sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. PlayGo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Ace Trace holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ace Trace has 2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ace Trace ships an update every 2 weeks, PlayGo every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
