# Ace Trace vs Rakou

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Rakou at 100% against Ace Trace's 51%. Rakou also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.3) and monetization model (freemium vs subscription). Ace Trace's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 4) and chart position (#109 vs unranked). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ace Trace sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Rakou sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rakou holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ace Trace has 2K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Ace Trace's written reviews are positive against 100% of Rakou's.

Ace Trace ships an update every 2 weeks, Rakou every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
