# Brightline vs PitStopPal

Brightline and PitStopPal both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of PitStopPal's written reviews are positive against 57% of Brightline's. Brightline's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and ratings volume (67K vs 2). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PitStopPal sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Brightline asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Brightline against 5.0 for PitStopPal. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Brightline has 67K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 57% of Brightline's written reviews are positive against 100% of PitStopPal's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
