# Ricochet Go vs HazProof

The clearest difference is rating: HazProof at 5.0 against Ricochet Go's 2.6. HazProof also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 6 weeks). Ricochet Go's advantage is ratings volume (38 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HazProof holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ricochet Go has 38 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Ricochet Go ships an update every 6 weeks, HazProof every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
