# Audio Editor & Tool vs VP

The clearest difference is rating: VP at 5.0 against Audio Editor & Tool's 4.1. Audio Editor & Tool's advantage is ratings volume (88 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audio Editor & Tool sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and VP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audio Editor & Tool has 88 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Audio Editor & Tool ships an update fortnightly, VP every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
