# addi2go vs BOTZ Diary

The clearest difference is rating: addi2go at 4.4 against BOTZ Diary's 2.5. addi2go also leads on ratings volume (46 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

addi2go holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: addi2go has 46 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of addi2go's written reviews are positive against 57% of BOTZ Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

addi2go ships an update every 2 months, BOTZ Diary every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
