# 585Gold vs UVI

The clearest difference is rating: 585Gold at 4.8 against UVI's 3.7. 585Gold also leads on ratings volume (58 vs 3). UVI's advantage is review sentiment (64% vs 29%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

585Gold holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 585Gold has 58 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of 585Gold's written reviews are positive against 64% of UVI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 8, 2026 respectively.
