# Time Control! vs Draw Knife!

The clearest difference is rating: Time Control! at 3.8 against Draw Knife!'s 3.4. Time Control! also leads on ratings volume (406 vs 46). Draw Knife!'s advantage is review sentiment (43% vs 22%) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Time Control! holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Time Control! has 406 ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Time Control!'s written reviews are positive against 43% of Draw Knife!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Time Control! ships an update every 3 months, Draw Knife! every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 19, 2026 respectively.
