# Pétanque vs TDEE Calculator

The clearest difference is ads: TDEE Calculator at none against Pétanque's shown. TDEE Calculator also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 21 months) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pétanque sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year and TDEE Calculator sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pétanque ships an update every 21 months, TDEE Calculator every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
