# Subcap vs StitchLab

The clearest difference is update cadence: Subcap at fortnightly against StitchLab's every 3 months. Subcap also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Subcap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and StitchLab sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Subcap ships an update fortnightly, StitchLab every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
