# Luxxle vs Loom

The clearest difference is update cadence: Loom at fortnightly against Luxxle's every 4 months. Luxxle's advantage is ratings volume (207 vs 31) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Luxxle against 4.6 for Loom. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luxxle has 207 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 53% of Luxxle's written reviews are positive against 50% of Loom's.

Luxxle ships an update every 4 months, Loom fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
