# Aluratek Frametime vs Trimlight Edge

The clearest difference is rating: Aluratek Frametime at 4.2 against Trimlight Edge's 2.8. Trimlight Edge's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 3%) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Aluratek Frametime holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 2.8. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 271 and 366 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of Aluratek Frametime's written reviews are positive against 22% of Trimlight Edge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
