# NoteEase vs LinHand

The clearest difference is rating: NoteEase at 4.4 against LinHand's 3.0. NoteEase also leads on ratings volume (66 vs 2). LinHand's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (50% vs 42%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NoteEase sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per year and LinHand sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NoteEase holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NoteEase has 66 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of NoteEase's written reviews are positive against 50% of LinHand's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
