# Vilvolt vs Vélhop

The clearest difference is rating: Vilvolt at 4.6 against Vélhop's 3.5. Vélhop's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vilvolt holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5 and 14 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 58% of Vilvolt's written reviews are positive against 64% of Vélhop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Vilvolt ships an update every 5 weeks, Vélhop every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
