# LapSnap vs EVP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: EVP at none against LapSnap's 7. EVP also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). LapSnap's advantage is ratings volume (241 vs 2). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LapSnap sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. EVP asks for nothing beyond the download.

EVP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LapSnap has 241 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

LapSnap ships an update fortnightly, EVP monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
