# Permanent Archive vs Snoog

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Permanent Archive at none against Snoog's 3. Permanent Archive also leads on ratings volume (6 vs 1). Snoog's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Snoog sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Permanent Archive asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Permanent Archive against 5.0 for Snoog.
