# AVA vs Mentoring Hub

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mentoring Hub at every 4 weeks against AVA's every 16 months. Mentoring Hub also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AVA ships an update every 16 months, Mentoring Hub every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
