# Epoch TV vs Truth+

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Truth+ at none against Epoch TV's 2. Truth+ also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 16 months) and chart position (#145 vs unranked). Epoch TV's advantage is ratings volume (6.1K vs 462) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Epoch TV sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Truth+ asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Epoch TV against 4.7 for Truth+. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Epoch TV has 6.1K ratings behind it against 462, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 72% of Epoch TV's written reviews are positive against 70% of Truth+'s.

Epoch TV ships an update every 16 months, Truth+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
